Filming tips
- Film side-on, with the phone propped at about hip height, level and held still.
- Keep the whole lifter and the near safety bar in frame, including the knee at the bottom.
- Use a power rack with safety bars set at parallel; one lifter in view.
- Use the back camera, not the selfie camera: its wide lens bends perspective more, so measurements are less reliable.
- For the bar path: put the camera directly in line with the barbell so the plate faces the lens, 3 m or more back, at about chest height and level (not tilted up). Then the sleeve end sits over the bar's centre and the white dot at mid-foot is a fair comparison.

- the lifter's hips and knees are visible for the whole set;
- the camera is side-on and steady;
- the set includes at least one full dip and return to standing.
